Regrading Bass & Tenor Drummers

Regrading Bass &Tenor Drummers

All bass and tenor drummers who wish to compete in solos are asked to submit a grading video submission to the Music Board prior to November 1, 2021.  The video should be of the competitor playing a solo tune(s) at least at their current grade level requirement.  Should a competitor desire to play tunes required at a grade level higher than their current grade in order to potentially be graded higher, that is acceptable as well.  Live accompaniment is preferred, but if that is not possible, recorded accompaniment is acceptable.  There is no need to request a particular grade in which to be placed; the Grading Committee will carefully review each submission and grade as appropriate.

The new grades and their playing requirements can be found here: Requirements. Grading video submissions may be sent for consideration immediately; any competitor who has not submitted their grading video submission by November 1, 2021, will be listed as “ungraded” and unable to compete in EUSPBA solo events until a video is submitted and reviewed by the Music Board. Grading video submissions should be sent directly to the Executive Secretary (zecsec@euspba.org) and should include the competitor’s name, EUSPBA number, and current grade.
