Metro Cup 2017
Metro Cup Supporters,
On Saturday, February 18th, 2017 we will be hosting the Metro Cup and the Pipe Major George M. Bell Amateur Championship at the Ramada Inn on Frontage Road in Newark, New Jersey.
Once again we will be inviting many of the top pipers in the world to compete at this event.
The judges for the Metro Cup this year are

As most of you are well aware this event would not be possible without your support. The last two years we have been severely impacted by inclement weather which reduced the number of tickets sold on the day of the event. While we have managed to break even we do not have the luxury of any surplus.
Tickets are $30 per person or eight for $200 if purchased in advance. Prepaid tickets go a long way in insuring our success. We also accept sponsorship for the cash prizes in the open events and to fund amateur scholarships.
The Open event prizes are $1000, $600, $400, $200 and $100 for the piobaireachd and the medley events. You can sponsor a prize in your name, your bands or perhaps in memory of someone who was fond of the pipes.
Donations should be made out to the Metro Cup and mailed to 21 Pondview, St James, NY, 11780.
We will also welcome donations of anything piping or drumming related that we can auction on the evening of the event.
