Metro letter

Dear EUSPBA member,

On Saturday February 17, 2018 EUSPBA will run the annual Metro Cup invitational bagpipe competition in Newark, NJ.  This is a remarkable opportunity to hear some of the greatest talent in bagpiping here in the metro area as well as a enjoyable social event.

The event begins at 8am with the Pipe Major George M. Bell amateur Grade One contest and is followed by the premier Piobaireachd and Medley contests.  Invitees include the top player from EUSPBA, as well as the top players from the Midwest Pipe Band Association, the Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario in Canada, the winners of major contests in Scotland this past summer including our returning champion from last year, Callum Beaumont.

We are asking EUSPBA members to support this special event and have attached our appeal letter.  This truly is a special event unlike any other, and I hope you will help to make it a success.
