The All Ireland Pipe Band Championships

Before we move on, how about a hats off and hearty cheer for the St. Columcille United Gaelic Pipe Band’s fantastic win in grade 3b and let’s not forget the performance of the Columcille School of Piping and Drumming in Grade 4b. I received a note from the Irish Pipe Band Association that I’d like to share:

Congratulations to St Columcille United Gaelic Pipe Band, Kearney, NJ, USA on winning the 73rd All Ireland Pipe Band Championships Grade 3b in New Ross, Co Wexford, ROI and to Columcille School of Piping &Drumming on a very solid performance in Grade 4b. Many thanks to Bob Wade for all the work he did on behalf of both bands. Bob is now an Honorary Officer of the Irish Pipe Band Association.
