The Dunedin Community Centre played host last Saturday to the RSPBA Intercontinental Solo Drumming Championship. Competitors vied for the right to compete in the semi-final of the Adult World Solo Drumming Competition. In addition, young drummers competed in the Martin Duffy Juvenile Snare MSR and the John Murray Juvenile Snare March. The Eastern United States Pipe Band Association wishes to thank the Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation, the Metro Cup, and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association forpresenting this prestigious event. Along with the host organizations, EUSPBA wishes to thank Pearl Drums, Andante Drums and the Lone Star Piper for their gracious sponsorship.

These four competitors have pre-qualified into the 2022 RSPBA World Solo Snare Drumming Championship Semi-Final.

All first-place winners in each event won a snare drum. Adult cash prizes totaled $3000. The juveniles won scholarships totaling $2400. The juveniles also won prize packs including drum cases, sticks, pads, and other swag. Prizes were donated by Andante, Pearl and Lone Star Bagpipes.
